Fitness starts at breakfast

Who does not know that.
Only last Sunday, you decided to start the next week healthier and fitter: 3 times a week sports, regular meals, no junk food, less coffee and more veggies. That’s the plan.
However, the Monday morning is hardly there, and the great euphoria is mostly gone because, somehow, there’s again too little time. Instead, you just take a quick shower, pack all seven things for work and get something to eat from the bakery on the way.
But tomorrow, tomorrow we start with the good intentions!
Because from tomorrow you know how you can prepare in just a few minutes a super healthy and satisfying breakfast.
All you need is a powerful blender, a knife and a handful of seasonal fruits and vegetables.
The great thing about smoothies is that you can mix them as often as you like, and they are prepared in no time at all. In contrast to fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies are also filling for a long time, as whole fruits are processed in them and thus all fiber are contained. Smoothies also have an amazing vitality and nutrient density. Better you cannot start the week.
Try it with the green breakfast variant from my smoothie repertoire. And for the next time, just look in your vegetable compartment and try it out.

Green avocado smoothie to start:

  • 1 apple
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 10g grated ginger
  • 1 lime
  • 40g baby spinach
  • 400ml of water
  • Optionally a few fresh berries as a topping

Quarter the apple and core it.
Remove the shell and the core of the avocado and roughly cut the pulp into pieces.
Peel the banana and roughly cut into pieces.
Squeeze out the lime, wash the spinach and then add all the ingredients to the blender.
Mix for about a minute. A super delicious and healthy breakfast is done!
